Blue Duck Tavern

The Michelin-Starred Blue Duck Tavern’s open kitchen, with a central focus on its wood-burning oven, welcomes both travelers and locals alike to gather and celebrate in good taste. The menu of the Blue Duck Tavern intelligently showcases the best of the season and Chef Brad Deboy brings sharply focused and bold flavors to the table through simple and traditional cooking methods. Slow-roasting in wood embers, braising, preserving and smoking techniques brings the true flavors of America’s great, simple and wholesome foods to the Blue Duck Tavern’s patrons.

With an open staff pantry and kitchen, a glass-enclosed wine cellar, a Chef’s Table seating up to sixteen and Washington’s first commercial Molteni range, custom designed in blue lacquer, guests' experience an innovative and dramatic setting.

Hours: Lunch - Daily, 11:30 am to 2:30 pm; Dinner - Daily, 5:30 pm to 10:30 pm.

Tea Cellar

Park Hyatt Washington’s intimate Tea Cellar features rare and limited production, single-estate teas from remote regions of China, Japan, Sri Lanka and the Himalayas. The Tea Cellar’s sophisticated tea offerings, some of which are at the level of flavor and complexity of fine wines, not only introduces guests to the highest quality of tea, but also to the significance of water temperature and steeping time each tea requires.

Unique in the United States both for its menu and offerings, the Tea Cellar showcases a glass tea humidor and a lit display of tea blossoms that flower when steeped in water.

The Lounge

Glass-enclosed booths and a distinctive marble and glass bar offer a captivating setting for a nightcap or pre-dinner cocktail. Sample from our extensive wine list or try one of the tempting martinis or specialty cocktails. Light fare - including fresh oysters, Wagyu burgers and crab cakes - offer the perfect accompaniment to your beverage of choice. Each evening features a nightly cheese presentation showcasing artisanal cheeses by the ounce.
